  1. Take us through the journey of writing your book.

Answer: It was great journey and am sure it will be same ahead. At the beginning it was uncertainty and doubtfulness, what to write and how to write and will I be able to produce something good. Later, I started enjoying though it was never easy particularly because of duality in my life. I am author though have different professional goals and in my practice of writing it is important to feel a character and sometimes become one to know what he will do next. This requires particularly long stretch of isolation. Living in duality also added a good in my writing particularly originality. Writing allowed me look the world in different way, i.e. from the eyes of other also to explore the world within me.

  1. Tell us something about your book.

Answer: My book is a collection of five short stories of genre “romance” though it isn’t the only thing you got. It is particularly for people like who have little patience, the story moves in good pace and one can complete a story in an hour or two. I conveyed five message in five stories and if you wanna know more about each story and the story behind each story here they are.

The first story MY LIFE OF SEVEN DAYS. One day while I was chatting with my love she told me that she had read a novel. Then she started telling me the story and at the end, I was like “what garbage they are putting in my love’s mind”. Though I didn’t said her anything about it. But the first story was like mother’s love, like mostly mother’s will make Pani Puri at home so that their child get hygienic food instead of feeding them with street food. I wrote a story so that she reads mine.
Also I wanted to propose her by the mean of the book. And the whole story is written just to convey two lines to her. First is, I love you and second is “For me there is no life without you and any day without you is meaningless less to me, I only consider those to be day of life in which you are with me”

THE NIGHT OF BROKEN TAJ- Looking at my intense nature and the end of my first story. She developed a feel that if in any case we won’t be together I will end my life or give hope on everything and will simply survive till death. Nobody really wants to be in that position, nobody would like someone to die for him or her. The story conveys that “if for whatever reason if we are separated I will accept everything and my life will go on. I will move on but don’t take it as I never cared for you. I did and I will”. It was her favorite one.
I always missed a sister in my life. I would like to have one. Character of Isha di in this story is an outcome of my wish to have a sister. In addition the first story was too short and missed some basic ups and downs. I got few feedback to focus on the story which I did in this story.

A PERFECT PLAN- The person you love the most hurts you the most. Not all days we spent where cherries. It was down time for us. At this stage of my life I felt I am being cheated. The message was clear and bold “Don’t you try to use me don’t try to cheat me on, don’t take me for granted. The end can be ruthless”. I still remember the day when I said to her “I come back to you every time, no matter what happened between us, but don’t take me for granted. There is a limit to which I bear things. And if you cross that I will leave and simply leave you, and that time I won’t listen to any of your words it will be end of everything, forever”
Unfortunately, it happened and I had no choice but to leave.

But I kept writing.

GRAVITY GIRL- This is my favorite one. I had dream. It was quite often I dreamed about her even after we haven’t talked for more than 2 years. And all of my dreams revolved around the day we were separated. Sometimes I dreamed about the day before we got separated and everything is love. Other time I dreamed that we met in some situations after the day we separated, talking about past and trying to behave normally as if nothing had happened lying to each other about about what we feel. These dreams really affected my mood. A good dream made me happy and a bad one made me feel bad all day. At this point I realized that how deep a dream can affect someone. The first story which is presented in the dream is the one which I actually dreamed off. The name Gravity girl was also a part of that dreams.

Last one, ENTRIANGLED. Many people tell their heartbreaking story and all they tell is they were cheated. Unknowingly I was doing the same. No matter how hard I tried to explain, it always seemed that I was being cheated. This is coz after breakup all that people will ask Why you broke up? And you will tell them all the things you didn’t likes but rarely someone will ask why you loved her. What good time you spent together. Now as I was telling my version of the story to someone, she would also have been sharing her version of the story. What she felt. This story Entriangled is similar to this situation.

  1. Few words for your lovely readers?

Answer: It is okay to fall in love, it is okay to have breakups, it okay to misunderstand someone or to be misunderstood by someone. But it’s not okay impose yourself on someone else. You choose whom you love, allow the same to them. Try hard, so that someone you love, loves you back but you should know it’s their choice.
