Raconteur: Short Stories by Devendra Kumar Verma

About the book :-

The inspiration for this book is the love of my life. During a conversation with her, I came to know that she loves to read novels. Later when I decided to propose her, like every other guy I wanted it to be very special. So I wrote a short story ” My Life of Seven Days” and proposed her after she read it. Later I wrote few more stories because she liked the first one very much and her wishes were my choices. As time flowed and like every relationship we had ups and down. By the time I ended my third story we broke up. I would not like to say that it was her fault or my fault because when we came into a relationship bit was our decision and when we broke up was also our decision. No I am in no contact with her for more than three years, and there is no way I can reach her. I don’t want to go back and interfare with her life neither I want her come back , I don’t want to say her that look I still love you or something like that.

Review :-

Raconteur: Short stories by Devendra Kumar Verma is a collection of short stories. Though it’s title is short story but it’s not a short story and you can say it’s a never ending story that happens in every love life. But I can say honestly that it’s blurb portion is enough to touch my heart. After reading it’s blurb for sometime I started thinking about this book to open it or not for reading. But finally I am in condition to read it. Story is really amazing and it touched my Heart. Narration and characters of story is also too good. Language is good and anyone can read it easily. Every page turning of this book increases my curiosity to read it. It contains total 5 short stories and any romance readers can read and feel it. Story is worth praising.
